The introduction of a plant identification system, with references to various world-wide sources, has just recently been commenced (20th April, 2008). The project will be an extensive exercise and data will be placed on this page as it becomes available. Anyone who would like to contribute to this project - information, references, pictures, etc - please contact us on roger.beauchamp@btinternet.com. If a large amount of data comes to hand, it may be necessary to rotate images periodically. We look forward to hearing from contributors.
The Delphinium Species & Breeders Forum is aiming to bring
together all information concerning delphinium species, both historical and contemporary.
Other future aims will include discussion of methods of delphinium breeding, the growing of species and the results of hybridisation between species.
Anyone interested in these subjects is invited to submit
information for inclusion in the pages of this web-site in order to encourage exchange of information and ideas. The following index will be expanded as the work of the Forum progresses.

The Species and Breeders Forum is intended as a vehicle for the gathering together of information from worldwide sources so that important records are not lost and are, in fact, disseminated to all those with an interest in the Genus Delphinium and its closely related Genus Consolida. Non-members worldwide will be welcome to provide material for this web-site and, from the Delphinium Society's standpoint, the information will in time be a reference source for the Society's Year Book, Autumn Bulletin and other publications. Therefore it must be clearly understood that information provided for this web-site will be made available for publication purposes in the Society's Journals. Information derived from reference sources will remain as references only.
