Possible New CentresOur invitation to extend services to Members and to bring publicity to the general public has been answered in 2008 in enquiries from two parts of England not yet served by the Society.
There has been an enquiry from a Member in the Midlands and which we welcome. In order to sound out possible support from our membership and, for that matter, from non-members who would join the Society should there be formation of a regional grouping in their area, the following provisional arrangement has been proposed.
Our Yorkshire & Lncolnshire Group, who now effectively organise events generally throughout the north of England, have agreed to host the development of activities in the Midlands through an associate arrangement. Our organiser piloting Midlands interests in the Society will then be able to draw on the expertise developed by the Group. He is working in conjunction with the Promotions & Publicity Secretary whose contact numbers are given above. The Secretary is collating enquiries.
